Experience:
I have been a Grief, Loss and Trauma Counsellor and Trainer in Private Practice (since 2008).
I incorporate Trauma Incidence Reduction techniques when appropriate.
I have developed a group based workshop to be run in resource poor communities entitled "Managing Loss Grief and Continuous Trauma". It is designed for those who are unable to afford individual counseling. I train qualified Mental Health practitioners to run the course.
Social Worker at St Luke's Hospice (1991 - 2008)
I worked with patients registered at the Hospice on the ward and in their homes and was in charge of bereavement care for the families of patients. I recruited, trained and supervised a team of volunteers who assisted me in this work.
